.  ........ Lighting the Chesapeake Bay........... "Turkey Point Lighthouse"      The Lighthouse at the top of the Chesapeake Bay, thirty five feet in height guides vessels away from the cliffs and toward the Chesapeake and Delaware Canal.   Built in 1844, the Lighthouse is open for tours.

United States Coast Guard Auxiliary  Welcome to Division 13 - 5th District Southern Region Web Site.  A unique Division serving the Upper Chesapeake Bay.              As the Civilian volunteer component of the U.S. Coast Guard, we are dedicated to educating the public in Boating Safety.  Division 13 volunteers are dedicated to Safe Recreational Boating.
